It is very hard on any physical person, either an athlete, a musician, or even a bricklayer, to have one of the appendages he needs most be broken. AS well, watching others do it, hurts even more. As some know, I shattered my elbow a week ago or so, even though the break is not quite so bad as it possibly could have been, (thank god) the lack of use, and its simple limitation is near soul crushing. So if you know someone with a new injury, or heavens forbid a new permanent one, it takes a little more soul to do the same things we now take for granted. Help when they need it, but let them know that what can can do, they should do. Back to my mandolin building.. see you.
