Well it's now November and I thought I should update you on the status of the Fitzgrass radio show. All is well and the whole thing is growing. More bluegrass bands, more variety and more listeners too! As far as how many, I'm not sure but the formula seems to be working. And that would be a show featuring mostly bluegrass with a dash of cajun and acoustic. Plus 2 country classics per show.

  To all of those that have listened, thanks for your support. I plan on getting better in 2009, with maybe some more guests coming in. Have some happy bluegrass style holidays and praise the Lord!

The new radio show is called "Fitzgrass" and it starts on January 4, 2008. I'll play bluegrass and more bluegrass. I've been gearing up for this by gathering up as many bluegrass CDs as humanly possible. Lots of folks want to be "green" these days. Not me, I'd rather be blue!

This show is replacing "The Fitz Mix" and it's at the same time slot, 1pm to 3pm et on Fridays @ www.fcac.org/webr. I've also joined the DC Bluegrass Union to help promote bluegrass music more. I'm excited to have the opportunity to bring this new radio show to all the bluegrass lovers out there. 2008 should be great for bluegrass music! Yours truly, Fitz
