Inspired to play banjo when twelve by Hee Haw and Kermit the Frog. Got first banjo by thirteen. So cheap it wasn't playable.Took lessons on it by someone who didn't know how to play it! Gave up.Went to college in NC mountains, got a real banjo, dropped all my classes except banjo! Got married, had four kids, sold banjo. Kids got old enough for me to remember that I have a self, bought banjo on ebay- a Fender. Been teaching myself for four years. I love it! I have been homeschooling my kids for seventeen years. I am a respiratory therapist. |
