| ABOUT ME |
I am Jonathan Estep, the mandolin player for Revival Ridge. I am, most importantly, a Christian. I play Grey Eagle mandolins exclusively. I started playing bluegrass at age 8 and a half as the upright bass player for the now defunct King's Strings, where my Dad was playing banjo. When that group disbanded in 2000, Dad and I started Revival Ridge, with Dad on the guitar and myself on the bass. We've had quite a few band reconfigurations thru the years, and the current is certainly one of the best. Revival Ridge currently features my Dad Paul Estep on rhythm guitar and vocals, me on the mandolin and vocals, Billy Morgan on banjo and vocals, and Ron Cornett on acoustic bass and vocals. We have a new CD out called "They Need Jesus" It a great one for sure. Thanks for your time and God bless! |
