recovering after heart surgery getting or trying to getting my life back to normal after a year of work and 2 years before that being ill and not able to work for long periods at a time. started a new business in the home improvements market were i wont be on tools more on sales and looking after each customers home improvement as in new kitchen or bathrooms it all kicks off on 3rd of september and allready the works coming in. i also hope to enjoy life a lot more and hope to bring out a cd in the near future of all my own songs i have a band called the hillbilly bums and at this time i am looking a new bass player and fiddle player as the last per wanted to use midi files[as if that was going to happen]so if you live in and around inverclyde scotland and being in a band is your thing get in touch

a good banjo breakdown. i get excited about business and keeping it going.when i get a good idea for a song i just have to run with it till i finish it day or night.

OMG well it's not that big of a deal to not listen if you have to work in the morning!! LOL that's some difference in time!

If we ever come over we'll have to try and stay on our schedule and see whether it's possible or not :)

Hey Mark,

Thanks for visiting our band's website!  And thanks so much for your kind words!  Yes, we have a lot of fun with the Irish/Scottish music!  It sure is different to classic bluegrass as for the arrangements and chord progressions, though.  Those slip jigs still give me fits with that timing.  I'd love to come to Ireland sometime and just take the backroads to visit the pubs and hear the music and jam sessions from the REAL people.  I'd avoid all those "touristy" things and instead go to the places that are untouched by commercialism.  I bet yall know where to go!  Hope to see you in the chat room!
