Hi my name is Dustin and I play fiddle and a little mandolin. I've played with people like Gary Waldrep and Kelli Johnson. I love newgrass (Nickel Creek, Alison Krauss, etc.)

Good vocals and harmony, awesome instrumentalists, originality, personality, talking with the fans!

If you can't sing or play then just sit back and listen.

fiddle, reading, writing, photography, family

Thanks for the kind words! Be PROUD to be 15! To have the accomplishments you have already, playing all those instruments is awsome! I started at age 6 and it took me all my life to be able to just play "pretty good". This younger generation is so much sharper than me, My daughter that's 14 is playing bass & mandolin, clarinet in school and it's scary how fast the kids are catching on! I watched a 15 yr. boy cut heads with Randy Kohrs on stage and believe me there was no shame at all. So Go for it girl! Sky's the limit only in this life, so there's nothing wrong riding the stars and try to bless someone on the way!   God, Bless

Hello Dusty, Like I always say age is just a number! Sounds like you are kept busy with pickin' and such. I hope you the best and remember your only as good as you think you can be. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!

LOL!! You called me Tater!!

So whats been going on Alison's board? Anything good? LOL! I kinda got a little tired of the guys, so I went on over to Rhonda's..it sure is a party over there! And the best part is, they make you feel like part of the "Rager" family!! Everyone is so nice and willing to help out!

Good luck on Sam's song! I dont have a lot of music, so I kinda try and remember what I played when a bunch of us get together. Plus, its been pretty hard, cause I dont have my mandolin to play!! its in Kentucky getting set up by the fellow that does Josh's work. im hoping to pick it up when I go to Benton in a couple weeks! Im so excited to see how much better it plays! We'll have to get together, if you want and send some music to each other!! Like old times! LOL!

Grey Eagle is king of contest tunes. Especially as played by Tim Crouch of Strawberry, Ark. You can see him here: http://www.geocities.com/crouchtim/fiddler.html

I suggest you buy his CDs -- they will rock your world. I get nothing for saying that. He's a friend and plays gigs with my band (The Old School Bluegrass Band) about twice a year. Cheers, Mandobill

Hey Dustin!!

Its me, Amy!! Remember when we used to post on Alison's message board about you know who! Cause they used to fight over who was gonna marry Alison!! LOL!!

When I saw you on Rhonda's board, I was like, I know her!!! So it sounds like the fiddling is going awesome!! I still have mine and I break it out every now and again..I got a mandolin, so Ive been kinda hooked on it!!

Talk to you later chick!
