In the new year i am starting up a bluegrass club in my local town of Greenock on the river clyde Scotland . i have never run a club before but bluegrass is my life and as there is no such venue at this time. I believe that bluegrass is on a revival or at least getting populor were i abide [ mine you folk still ask me what bluegrass is  a lot of work to do ] my friend Uncle Billy Dunbar has gave me advice and says will answer and do what ever he can to help . with being from the uk  and never been to bluegrass land i would need advice on bluegrass history and basically anything to do with bluegrass so i can build a portfollio and that is the reason for the blog . and if you live in the uk get in touch or ireland / europe as we may be of a bennefit to each other  one last thing .. the club will be a non profit business with club money etc when we get that far will be used to help bring in bands from across the pond and help the local hospice i,ll keep an update here as things come together , maybe i,ll get to see some of you perform here in scotland  irish mark
