Well the first album out since Jerry Butler joined the group Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road is now available.  For those who don't know Jerry he was with the super group "Pine Mountain Railroad" for some time. Writing and singing some gerat tunes like IBMA nominated gospel tune "Fly Away".  He provides vocals on numerous songs on this new CD album intitled "Carolina Road" which include the title tune "Carolina Road written by the outstanding song writing duo Tom T. And Dixie Hall. And "Can't you Hear the Mountain calling" written by Jerry Williamson a tune stright out of the hill's and holler's of bluegrass country, and another stand out Mark Brinkman penned tune "When You Look Up".

Of course the very talented leader Lorraine Jordan contributes some very tasty lead vocals and mando chops to the Glenn and Vivian Taylor tune "Run Little Fox" plus another wonderful job on the tune "Which Way To go" anothr fine Jerry Williamson song.

The whole album is full of great songs, done by members of the Carolina Road band.  A legend in his own right Benny Greene his long Bluegrass career going back to the early seventies playing with the late Charlie Moore. The young and very talented Josh Goforth a alumi of the wonderful music program at the East Tennessee State University.and the also young and talented Todd Meade who is also a alum of ESTU, a special Scholarship winner with the blood of the Osborne's running in his vains the great and Legendary fiddler Charlie Osbrone is his Gandfather and Todd excel's at the fiddle also.
