Hi there, nice to meet you!

Thanks Murph,

We played at a Church in Tallapoosa GA yesterday and I'm still tired.  Might be because of the sod I laid Friday and Saturday.  When I was younger I would pick instead of work in the yard.  Guess I'm showing my age.

Never have graduated to a fern!  I still have an old A12 that looks like an F that was premature (you know the scroll is not carved out).  I still have an Eastman 915 that I really like with the "mando-voodo" that the guy in Friendsville TN puts on them.  I also have a Morgan that another guy is borrowing at the present.  I had a Ratliff a while back that I really liked but sold it to buy a banjo.  That's always been an issue for me, between the guitars, dobros, mandos, banjos, banjola, bouzoki, fiddles and bases, I never lighted on an F-5.  I haven't played as much mando over the past 2 or 3 years anyway.  Enjoy the Fern and keep picking!

We're near Nashville.

Hey Murph, we're not picking as much but still do 3-5 select dates per month.  Our Pastor left our Church last August and I've been filling in so that has cut down on us taking so many bookings.  We performed last weekend and today and I think we have another next Sunday.  It keeps us pretty busy.  Maybe you can get by where we are sometime.  What kind of mando do you play?

Tim

Doing good, just working hard.  Not picking as much as I used to or would like to.  But hey, there's a time and a place for everything!

Thanks for the friends request.  I would like to get together sometime and pick but not sure how far in Alabama you are.  We are in West Ga near Villa Rica and actually attend Church in Tyus Ga which is even closer to Alabama.

God Bless,

Tim Elsberry
