Traditional bluegrass mostly, but I like some contemporary stuff. Bill Monroe, Del McCoury, Rhonda Vincent, James King, Larry Sparks, Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Tony Rice. Also traditional country music, western swing, and some classical every once in a while. Christian praise and worship (Michael W. Smith, Hillsongs, Twila Paris to name a few). |

| MOVIES |
I'm not a huge moviegoer. Modern westerns like Open Range with Robert Duvall. Romantic comedies and other chick flicks. One of my favorites of all time is Out of Africa. |

I'm just a smalltown country girl who loves bluegrass. I've been playing guitar, singing and writing songs for over 20 years but just dove into bluegrass about 6 years ago. I am single and have no kids (not by design). I love Jesus and try to follow Him faithfully but -- I'm not perfect. I like bluegrass because you can just be yourself. I've met some wonderful people since getting into bluegrass and they just accept you as you are. Bluegrass has no pretense in it. It's just real. |

Almost anything by Bill Monroe, the Album Band, Rhonda Vincent, Del McCoury Band. Singing and picking from the heart, no holding back. Jesus Christ my Lord. Fellowship with others who follow Jesus. Fishing, yes, fishing. Driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. Being in the outdoors with peace and quiet and mother nature. Kayaking. Honesty, kindness, thankfulness. originality. |
| TURN OFF'S |
Complainers and whiners. Much of today's country music. Egos. Vulgarity, profanity, disrespect. Hip-hop and rap music, especially from loud cars parked at the store nearby. Criticizing other pickers all the time. Bigotry. Men putting down women and women putting down men. Laziness. |
| HOBBIES |
Fishing on the river, gardening, kayaking, walking (hiking when I can in the mountains, just short hikes :). Sudoku puzzles. |
