I am a proud Alabamian living on 11 acres in Texas with my best friend/husband, 8 dogs, and a cat who thinks he is a dog. I love all music but bluegrass...there is no way to express with words how I feel about it. I am a geologist and went to Auburn University (WAR EAGLE) and Texas A&M for school. I have been pickin' on the mandolin for several years but started taking lessons and playing seriously last September. My husband plays the banjo and one of my favorite things is listening to him practice early in the morning.

playin' with my dogs, working on the property, pickin' mando on my front porch, laughing, sewing, beading, fossil/rock collecting
