DRY RUN BLUEGRASS www.myspace.com/dryrunbluegrassband There is no doubt that North Carolina has always been a haven for bluegrass music. It’s rich history continues to foster and create many talented players. Several of these talents have come together to form the DRY RUN bluegrass band. Dry Run has been the winner of many conventions including last years East Rowan Fiddlers Convention, in Salisbury, NC. Traditional, Contemporary and NewGrass styles are all performed, due mainly to the bands influences including Tony Rice, Ricky Scaggs, Seldom Scene, Sam Bush, and Jimmy Martin. Rich vocals, and great instrumentation help to provide a great Dry Run show. Dry Run bluegrass is... Gary Isenhouer- Guitar, Lead Vocals Gary Isenhour hails from Stony Point, NC. Gary’s rich vocal, coupled with his hard-driving flat-picking style, are a true asset to Dry Run, He has played with various bands throughout the area including Dewey Farmer & Powder Creek, Harold Killian & the Catawba River Boys, and the Sons of the South. He has won numerous awards for his talents at many conventions, including at Galax,VA. Gary has opened for such greats as the Country Gentlemen, Bobby Hicks, Blue Highway, and The Jeanette Williams Band. When not playing with Dry Run. Among his accomplishments are numerous first place wins at area fiddle conventions, and performing at Carowinds with such greats as country star Julie Roberts. Dale is proud to have opened for Bill Monroe, Jim and Jesse, The Lonesome River Band, The Nashville Bluegrass Band and IIIrd Tyme out. Carrie Webster-Fiddle, Vocals Carrie has played classical violin her entire life but in the last couple of years has fallen completely in love with fiddle playing and bluegrass music. Carrie has opened for Rhonda Vincent, Bobby Hicks, and the Cherry-Holmes Family. In 2007 she was invited to play with the International Bluegrass Music (IBMA) winners " The Daughters of Bluegrass".
