not much to say about me. I am a christian, always tried to be a good husband and father as well as step father ( 3 children of my own and 6 stepchildren). Now 2 ex wives. i served in the army 3 years but was in korea during nam. I was born and raised in south central mi but lived in western mi for ll years working in a factory moved to wi. moved to wi worked for a contractor for about 9 years (also married a lady with 6 children) after 24 years the marriage ended. as there is always 2 sides to a story i will not give mine either. i was self employed as a general contractor untill i had to retire because of arthuritis. i do not play any instrument just enjoy listning to good traditional country and traditional bluegrass. I presently live alone since my divorce in 98. i spend most of my time trying to help folks learn more about the bluegrass music (mostly on the computer through the WWB chat room. if i were to classify my priorities it would be number one is i love the lord. number 2 would be love family and friends coming next would be my love of music. guess the one thing i can be proud of is is that i feel blessed that i have a great relationship with the lord and some great family and friends.

A NICE SMILE SURE HELPS , IF ONE LOVES GOOD MUSIC IS VERY HELPFUL. LOVE OF THE LORD HAS TO BE NUMBER ONE. BEAUTY COMES FROM WITHIN AND LOVE OF THE LORD SHOWS THROUGH IN A SMILE.

TURN OFFS FIRST WOULD BE THOSE THAT ARE SO MUCH IN LOVE WITH THEMSELVES THE ONES THAT FEEL EVERYTHING REVOLVES AROUND THEM. OF COURSE USING FOWEL LANGUAGE AROUND A LADY IS DEFINATELY A TURN OFF ESPECIALY IN A PUBLIC SETTING . SINCE I AM A NON DRINKER THE USE OF OR TALKING ABOUT ALCOHOL ( I AM NOT AGAINDST SOMEONE OCASIONALY HAVING A DRINK BUT DRINKING AND DRUGS ARE A DEFINATE TURN OF

I HAVE VERY FEW HOBBIES BUT IF I COULD I USED TO LOVE WOOD WORKING, GARDENING , FLOWERS AND LOVE LISTNING TO TRADITIONAL MUSIC BOTH COUNTRY AND BLUEGRASS.. I STILL ENJOY BLUEGRASS FESTIVALS. TO ME COUNTRY HAS IN MOST PART ABANDONED THE REAL COUNTRY. reason for the lack of hobbies is my arthuiritis.

Hi Donald, sure good to hear from one of us here in the Ozarks, I too was born clost to Elijah, I remember the roller rink, wasn't it on Hwy 101? I am a minister and used to preach for the Elijah church of Christ for 5 years, I know a lot of the Harris' down there of course most are already gone. I live at West Plains but travel all over the US, we play professional bluegrass.  We will be playing a festival on May 31 at Scottown, Ohio, that is in the south east part of the state close to the Virginia line. It is the Appalachian Uprising  http://www.appalachianuprising.net  you can see my live television show that I play each week at Salem, Arkansas on the www 24/7 each week  http://www.trimtntv.com/smb.ram

Don,I tried to answer your message on the bulletin board but I haven't been able to find it but anyway, Have a great time at Ralph's hills and home. Hank and I went there once from Johnson City, TN and liked to never got there. I don't think you can get there from here. I told Ralph I can understand why he is such a mournful singer that if I lived where he did, I'd be mournful too., Have fun...............Hank and Betty
