Blueview Records and Blue Tin Roof Publishing provides assistance with recording & mastering, publishing, promotion, and online retail of bluegrass and acoustic music. We specialize in helping new artists grow and help songwriters develop their repertoire and find their niche in the music we love.
We realize the scope of the ever changing music industry and that CD sales are dwindling and the web is forever changing how music is delivered. There are a lot of opportunity to capitalize on more than performance and sales alone. We are very driven and committed to grow bluegrass music into more than a genre that usually falls under the category of Country music.
We work with songwriters, bands, studio's,and individuals who want to be more responsible for the music they create, by maximizing their return.
I also would like to take the time to mention that Blue Tin Roof Publishing recently had a song picked up on an upcoming release called "Everything's Blue" by Marcie Horne. She is an excellent area singer and features some really great singing and great musicians on this album including Johnny & Jeannette Williams, Sammy Shelor from Lonesome River Band and Alan Bibey from Grasstowne helping out! The album will be released in february 08.
Blueview Records and Blue Tin Roof Publishing is affiliated with ASCAP and I also have also added an A&R department which will be helping me listen to submissions and promotions. This is one more step in my dream of creating a successful independent music label specifically for bluegrass and acoustic music.
