The Resurrection Airmen, based in Southwick, MA, specialize in performing classic country and bluegrass music with an emphasis on Texas tunes from Bob Wills to George Strait. The Airmen then head for the hills to pick on Bill Monroe and Flatt and Scrugs. The Resurrection Airmen feature high lonesome harmonies, five string banjo, resophonic guitar, pedal steel, standard guitar and Bass Fiddle with a heap of down home country humor on the side.
The Resurrection Airmen are dedicated to family friendly entertainment such as fairs, festivals, and community and church events.
The Resurrection Airmen are the host band for the Pioneer Valley Pickers and Grinners Acoustic Music Jamboree held the fourth Saturday of every month in Southwick Mass at the Congregational Church Fellowship Hall 488 College Highway.
