I'm really trying to find a bright side to my son not wanting to play. He's 15 and has been at it since he was 5.He did about 150 dates a year with me when I was on the road with the Gospel/Bluegrass group Standing Tall. Then we were out about 4 times a week as the Bracken Family Bluegrass.I guess he just got burned out but I can't get him to open his mandolin case. He picks his guitar a little but not much. It's been a hard time for me becuse we've played together for so long.I miss picking with him. We have a couple of local churches wanting us to play but when I bring it up it turns into a train wreck.
