She was honored to recieve Youth Fiddle Champion in 2006 at the Kansas State Fiddling and Picking Championships!
Erika, 17, took up the Guitar three years ago, also taking from Diane Gillenwater, and just recently has also been receiving lessons from Rick Faris, SPBGMA Guitar Performer of the Year and part of the award-winning family band "The Faris Family."
The O'Shea Sisters now play out as much as they can, listen to as many kinds of music as possible, and have recently even started writing their own songs. Their music related studies and travels have led them to festivals, camps, and jams to states all over the Midwest including Colorado, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Missouri, and of course all over their home state of Kansas.
This page will be periodically updated with dates and locations of performances and other musically related information.
