Hello Eric;  sorry i didn't get back to you sooner.  Yes  i seem to recall your gradparents sure do remember the cloud 9  racnch   (picked a lot of blackberries there)

I was  born  in Elijah  mo  (my parents and many of my family are burried  there

My pasrents owned and operrated the Harris Roller Rink back in the 50's  untill  it burned  down .  eary 60's (those were the good ole days.  i went to high school in baskersfield

i hsve never met  gracie or gary booher  except in the WWB chat room  but i will see gracie  in 2 more weeks as i pass through cinci on my way to the stanley festival  .  i will be near johnson city  and would love to meet gary  but his schedule  keeps him on the road.  gary and his tenn  backroads show on the WWB  sure is a good show. Gosh how much better could it be   the Ozarks and  bluegrass.  makes me homesick.  I just read the comment by step child   My oldest sister  is burried in willow springs  (bonnie ruth truman) she died  at the age  of 25.  I sure need to get back down there soon while i still can. take care eric  and god bless

Oops, wrong town, The Corner Bar is in Willow Springs. In West Plains you could stop into Cafe 37 and say hi to Toni.  We love South East MO! Great people with a strong tie to traditional music.
