My name is Luke Shamblin and I am a Senior History Major at Glenville State College in Glenville, WV. I study music also here with Bluegrass Guru Buddy Griffin. I've held jobs playing fiddle with StoneyCreek, and filled in with many bands including the Sheppard Brothers, Once Blue, and The Megan Murphy Band. I've also played mandolin professionally with Melvin Goins, and Little Roy Lewis/Lizzy Long. Right now I'm concentrating on graduating by Dec 2009, and music has kinda been put on the backburner...FOR NOW! I do have a cd that is almost finished, and will be done by March 09 (Lord willing). Anything else?...then just ask. PS. I also have a website... www.lukeshamblin.com

TONE, TASTE, TIMING, HARMONY, ARRANGING...those are my musical turn-ons My real turn-ons are girls that play bluegrass...well not all of them, just the pretty ones...HAHAHA that was really mean of me.

People playing too fast because they think its good....its usually not! Drive doesn't come from speed...its a feel! SO MASH IT, dont smash it!

Bluegrass music, fishing, bowling, playing baseball/softball, reading, writing, singing
