The 1st night we did,nt know what to expect and quite a few rang to say they could,nt make that night but would come the next night and then folk wanted to know if there was going to be a bar at it so in the end we had ten its a bit disapointing but bluegrass is slow here but im still gona run with it if it means only haveing a hand full of dedicated bluegrass folk that get to pick and sing its been worth while as i have said to some folk its not about the numbers its all about the music and as they say at wwb bluegrass rules

i,ll keep you informed on how we are progressing

cheers for now  Mark

I like to see Rhonda Vincent and IIIrd Tyme Out too.   I missed Rhonda when she was here in Erwin last month.  Hunter Berry grew up about 45 minutes from me.

You're welcome for the add...also for the Service.  I appreciate your comments.  I've been watching The Dillards in person since about 1970 or 71 when we saw them at "In The Alley" in Escondido, CA.  I didn't see them during the period of about 1977 until 1989, then saw them sort of regular through the 90's and the first part of this decade at various Mayberry events and a few festivals.  Wish I could have seen them at Carnegie Hall before Mitch retired.  I've seen Doc Watson several times....the last time was several years ago at the 75th Anniversary of The Bristol Sessions. My daughter had a front row seat about 8 feet in front of him.  I was several rows back.  My other favorite guitar player to Dan Crary.

Thanks for the comment on our site and you are correct, the Lord has blessed us with a close knit family.  We've been so fortunate to play the type music we love in so many different places.  Still nothing makes for a better spiritual service than good old bluegrass Gospel!

God bless and Happy Thanksgiving from the Elsberry Family.
