Like just about any kind of music, but there is something addivtive about bluegrass. Maybe because it is so much fun to play it leaves you always wanting to hear more.

I am a 34 year old man with a wonderful wife and 2 beautiful kids.I started playing banjo in January of 2006 and have been working on it every chance I get ever since. I don't play any other musical instruments although I did try guitar a few years back but didn't have the drive to really work at it (I wanted to play banjo). My daughter plays the piano and my son plays the guitar, although he plays the banjo every chance he gets now. I hope to get out to a few local festivals this year so maybe we'll see you there.

Playing the banjo, fishing, does going to countless hockey, lacrosse, and soccer games of my son's count?
