| ABOUT ME |
My name is Richard. I started pickin on the 5-string banjo in November 2007. I havnt put it down since. Im learning to pick Scruggs Style even though the Reno Style has always grabbed my interest.
I started pickin on the Dobro July 2008. It is a little different than the Banjo, the majority of the diference is in the left hand.
When im not rollin out a Bluegrass tune you might find me on the ambulance or on a firetruck somewhere doin my thing. Im a licensed Firefighter and EMT-Basic in Maine and enjoy every minute of it.
I have also gone to college for 2 years to be a machinist and that is what im currently doing for a living. However, Firefighting/EMS and Bluegrass Music are never off my mind... |

The snobby "Im good and I know it" attitude. Luckily, I havnt seen much of it in bluegrass as I have seen in other music! Even the big name Bluegrass artists are the best people youll meet! |
| HOBBIES |
Pickin on the ole 5-string, and listening to picking on the 5-string. I learn alot by watching and listening to how its done.
Also just picked up a Dobro and am looking forward to learning to play that! |
